WSTA Bus2Vote

Need a ride to the polls on November 3rd? WSTA can assist YOU with transportation to the polls on Election Day, take the Bus2Vote!

WSTA is taking the initiative to encourage passengers to ride the bus free to the polls on Election Day. The Bus2Vote Initiative is designed to remove transportation barriers for registered and new voters.

“We want to make sure everyone that can vote, does on Election Day. Providing information on which routes to take, along with free rides, ensures that the lack of transportation to the polls will not keep Winston-Salem citizens from exercising their rights to be heard through their vote,“ said WSTA General Manager Donna Woodson.

WSTA has created a list of its routes that travel to or near many of the poll locations and will make the list accessible to anyone who needs it. Bus2Vote route information will also be available at the Transportation Center, on WSTA’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Additionally, upon request, WSTA will use it’s trip planner to help citizens figure out how to get to their voting location.
